The birth of a new baby is always a special event for any family, but for some families the journey takes a bit longer.  Baby Sheila took her sweet time presenting herself to her parents and big brother, and they are so glad she is here.  Please enjoy the images from their session a few weeks ago.  Such a sweetie!!

A Few of My Favorite Things

I thought I'd offer something a little different in this post.  I love how music has a way of transcending time and taking you back to a different time, place, and feeling.  I can't help but feel good when I hear these songs. Below are some of my favorite go to songs to pick me up or that I love belting in the house when no one is around.  Just thought I'd share in case you needed a pick me up! It's always a little scary to find some of your all-time favorites on the "retro" station.  Have I really gotten that old?  Feel free to supply me with your go-to pick me up songs!

This is a song I've loved for decades.  Always makes me nostalgic.

This is definitely takes me to my happy place.  Up beat and takes me back to high school!


There are so many great songs, and I could keep the list going on and on depending on what mood I'm in - but these are always on the top of the list! Enjoy.  I'd love to hear what your sing in the shower, belt in the car songs are.
