Audrey {Avon High School Class of 2013}

We had a beautiful evening to shoot Audrey's senior photos, if you can imagine that with the summer we've had.  The weather was great, not too humid and we found some great new locations.  We had an unexpected visit from some field cats who wanted in on the session as well.  They must have been good luck, because Audrey looks amazing.  Check them out for yourself!

Laura: {Class of 2013 Senior Portraits}

Introducing Speedway High School Senior Laura!  We had a lovely time during her morning session.  We planned her senior session as well as some family photos with her sister, Rachael.  Laura was a great sport getting in the water and the railroad track.  She planned awesome outfits including coordinating heels with her sister.  Despite the heat we had an awesome session.  It's such a small world, her parents and my aunt and uncle have been friends since high school!! Enjoy these sneak peaks!  

Chad & Liam {Indianapolis Wedding Photography}

After a whirlwind trip to New York, Chad and Liam were officially married in Central Park.  They returned home to celebrate with friends and family at the Fountain Square Theatre.  The party was awesome, people were on the dance floor long after the reception's official time frame.  They had friends pitch in all over to help celebrate including the cake, the decor, the DJ, and yes, even the photography.  Chad and Liam have been friends for several years now.  I'm so glad I could help them celebrate and capture their day in photographs.  Here you go guys, a few sneak peeks - I was really feeling the black and white on these images!!

Katie and Rob {Valparaiso Wedding | 5.26.2012}

It is always special to do work for friends.  I am always honored when friends of mine want me to help them record the memories of one of their most important days.  Katie and I met through our work as therapists.  She has moved out of town, but still contacted me last Fall to photograph her wedding.  Katie and Rob were married at St. Paul's Church in Valparaiso, IN.  Their reception was at Strongbows in Valparaiso.  They had a very cute movie theme for their reception complete with popcorn, and movie posters starring the newlyweds!  It was one of the warmest days we've had this Spring, but we survived :)  The day was perfect and every detail was just beautiful.  Congratulations to Katie and Rob and best wishes on their new life together.  Special Thanks to Allison Mayer of Allison Mayer Photography and Design for being my trusty sidekick and Catholic wedding aficionado for the day. 

Avon High School Dance Recital 2012

One of my favorite times of year is when I get to go to Avon High School for the end of semester dance recital.  This concert was special because some of these dancers were the first to take these classes when they were first offered only 4 years ago.  The program has grown and the talent is always amazing from student choreographed works to professional choreographers from LA and NYC.  I have gotten to know several of these dancers through the dance team, and am so excited for them to continue their dancing in college!  It is such a joy to watch the students grow over the years and some of them are being exposed to dance for the first time.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the night.  You can see them all HERE:
