Indianapolis WZPL Birthday Bash Concert Photography

This past weekend I got to do something really cool.  I got to photograph a concert!  I had VIP access, thanks to the radio station,  to the front row and got some amazing images from the WZPL Birthday Bash.  The concert was fun, the music was good, and the audience was CRAZY!  I think my ears are still ringing!  Here are some of my favorite images of Icona Pop, Karmin, Josh Kaufman, Little Mix Austin Mahone, and Jason Derulo.  Of course, as a dancer I always like to watch the dancers and put them in the spotlight as well.  They work really hard! The Love of Family {Avon, IN Portrait Photographer}

Emily and I met at a recent event celebrating and empowering women in our community.  Sometimes you meet people at just the moment you are meant to.  Emily told me that her extended family was coming to town in just a few short days, and she asked if I could squeeze in a session with the beautiful women in her life.  They aren't able to get together very often, and don't have any good photographs of all of them.  You see, Emily lost her sister unexpectedly earlier this year and their family was planning a memorial service that weekend.  Her mother, grandmother, aunt and 2 cousins would be in town from out of state.  The significance of this session was so important, that we worked around everyone's travel schedules and were able to put together a session to celebrate these beautiful women (did I mention beautiful).  I think everyone had fun and kept the mood light and celebratory.  Makeup assistance once again by the talented Emily Froelich.  (I hope everyone enjoyed their lashes :) While drawn together by tragedy, I was glad to be able to give these women some beautiful images to celebrate one another and also remember their sister, daughter, niece, granddaughter and cousin, Andrea.

Rachel {Avon, IN Senior Portraits}

Meet Rachel.  She is a super talented volleyball player and a very sweet girl.  She plays for the 2 time state champion Avon Orioles volleyball team.  She and her mom came with her friend Caroline, and we had fun working in the studio and on location making some great senior portraits.  I arranged to have Rachel's makeup done by my oh so talented make up artist, Emily.  She looked stunning,  she also had no trouble working the fierce face as well as that gorgeous smile!  Take a look at some of her (and my) favorite images :)

Fairy Tale Portraits {Avon, Indiana Photographer}

Exciting things are happening at the Adrienne Nicole Photography studio.  I had the opportunity to work with 2 awesome models on a Fairy Tale concept shoot.  These young ladies did awesome, they had such poise and were able to follow direction.  Can you believe these expressions from 6 year olds?!    This post will show the transformation from behind the scenes to finished edited images.  Thanks to their moms for some of the images below.  Also thanks to Julie Powers for the costume construction, hair and makeup assistance!!  I was going for something etherial and whimsical, and also fun where the girls could "dress-up".  It also allowed me to play with some new editing techniques.  If you think your girls would like to play dress up with friends for a photo shoot, let me know and we can come up with awesome styled shoots like this just for you!
