Katie and Rob {Valparaiso Wedding | 5.26.2012}

It is always special to do work for friends.  I am always honored when friends of mine want me to help them record the memories of one of their most important days.  Katie and I met through our work as therapists.  She has moved out of town, but still contacted me last Fall to photograph her wedding.  Katie and Rob were married at St. Paul's Church in Valparaiso, IN.  Their reception was at Strongbows in Valparaiso.  They had a very cute movie theme for their reception complete with popcorn, and movie posters starring the newlyweds!  It was one of the warmest days we've had this Spring, but we survived :)  The day was perfect and every detail was just beautiful.  Congratulations to Katie and Rob and best wishes on their new life together.  Special Thanks to Allison Mayer of Allison Mayer Photography and Design for being my trusty sidekick and Catholic wedding aficionado for the day. 

Avon High School Dance Recital 2012

One of my favorite times of year is when I get to go to Avon High School for the end of semester dance recital.  This concert was special because some of these dancers were the first to take these classes when they were first offered only 4 years ago.  The program has grown and the talent is always amazing from student choreographed works to professional choreographers from LA and NYC.  I have gotten to know several of these dancers through the dance team, and am so excited for them to continue their dancing in college!  It is such a joy to watch the students grow over the years and some of them are being exposed to dance for the first time.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from the night.  You can see them all HERE:

Mother's Day Memories

The Ludlow family has been a regular sight on the blog over the years.  I have shot 2 family sessions for them as well as Adalyn's 1st birthday photos.  This year we scheduled a full updated family session.  When we set the date, I didn't realize it was on Mother's Day, but it turned out to be a gorgeous day, and a nice gift for Heather.  I have known this family for several years now and they are awesome people.  So glad that I get to work with them on a regular basis.  Cameron is a sweet little boy - just turned 6 - and never at a loss for words.  Adalyn is exerting her independence, and wasn't so sure about having her picture taken.  Everything turned out great.  I hope you enjoy the photos!

Anna : {Class of 2013 Senior Portraits}

Meet the first Adrienne Nicole Photography Senior Representative for the class of 2013!  Anna's session had to be rescheduled at least once due to weather, and we had to time her session just perfectly to avoid 2 rounds of pop up showers.  We started out on Mass Ave Downtown, and then traveled back to a nearby outdoor location.  Anna did a great job.  She has been taking pointers from America's Next Top Model, and you might just see her on that show some day, she definitely knows how to work it!  Anna has a passion for the arts, like photography, and dance.  Here are a few of Anna's Senior Portraits, Enjoy!

Chad & Liam {Indianapolis Engagement}

Back in March I received a message from friends of mine, Chad and Liam, that they would like me to take the pictures at their wedding reception in June.   I was very happy that they chose me, and can't wait for their event in June.  The couple will be married in New York City and return to Indianapolis for their reception with friends and family the following week.  We met last week and took engagement photos on the Canal near the Indianapolis State Museum.  Enjoy the following images of Chad and Liam, and stay tuned for their wedding in June!
