Baby James {Child Photography, Avon, Indiana}

The holiday's really do bring out the best in people.  I was contacted to photograph baby James as a surprise Christmas gift for his mom and grandma.  I love helping with a surprise!!  James came in bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready for his modeling debut.  He was a great little guy, smiled and played with the camera, and only fussed when we changed his outfit.  As you can tell we got tons of great shots.  How can you not smile when you look at this little guy!!

Serendipity

Sometimes the Universe conspires, through a series of seemingly random events, to put you in the path of awesome people.  After putting a call out for dancers for a shoot earlier, which you can view here, I met the Blevins family.  I worked with Angela, mom, when she needed some headshots for work and she also wanted to purchase some of the earlier dance images.  She contacted me again in November to photograph her whole family as she begins to organize her house for the holidays and for her oldest's graduation open house this spring.  They are a great family and I had a great time photographing all of them.  I hope you enjoy these images.

The Colclasures {Avon, Indiana Newborn and Family Photography}

The birth of a new baby is always a special event for any family, but for some families the journey takes a bit longer.  Baby Sheila took her sweet time presenting herself to her parents and big brother, and they are so glad she is here.  Please enjoy the images from their session a few weeks ago.  Such a sweetie!!

Mother's Day Memories

The Ludlow family has been a regular sight on the blog over the years.  I have shot 2 family sessions for them as well as Adalyn's 1st birthday photos.  This year we scheduled a full updated family session.  When we set the date, I didn't realize it was on Mother's Day, but it turned out to be a gorgeous day, and a nice gift for Heather.  I have known this family for several years now and they are awesome people.  So glad that I get to work with them on a regular basis.  Cameron is a sweet little boy - just turned 6 - and never at a loss for words.  Adalyn is exerting her independence, and wasn't so sure about having her picture taken.  Everything turned out great.  I hope you enjoy the photos!

McKinley's Easter Best

I can't believe it has been over a year since I photographed baby McKinley's first round of photos.  Check them all out here, here, here, and here.  I have had the pleasure of getting to know McKinley and his amazing parents more closely over the last year or so.  This little guy is so loved by everyone around him, and definitely steals the hearts of everyone he meets.  He also does a great job sporting the adorable outfits mom buys him - I mean seriously with that hat!  We decided to take advantage of this unseasonably awesome weather and get some Easter photos done.  This is the first session we've done since he's been able to walk, so it was a little more of a workout than before :).  Here is Mr. McKinley's 5th blog appearance!! (wow, really 5th?!)
